Transfers Synthesis
The recorded movement picture points to a busy period of squad turnover, with arrivals and departures spanning domestic Moroccan clubs, overseas sides and loan pathways. The incoming sample combines transfer entries, free-agent or free-transfer additions, a loan and two returns from loan. C. Ibayi, T. Mabasa, S. Ghedamsi and K. Baba are among the players listed as arriving through transfers, while A. Khafifi, A. El Farissi, A. Tahiri and H. Ait Allal appear as free-agent additions. Outgoing entries include a transfer to Al Ahly, several moves described as transfers, free-agent exits and loans. The movement is not one-directional: I. M’Bareck and Reda Mhannaoui each appear in both incoming and outgoing entries at different dates. The arrivals and departures listed here are not exhaustive, so they show the character and timing of activity without establishing a complete net balance or overall count.
Leagues Maghreb Fès has participated in
Maghreb Fès are recorded in Botola Pro from 2020 through 2025, and this is the latest active competition record available. The club also has Cup participation recorded from 2020 to 2024, while Botola 2 is historical in the record for 2018 and 2019. CAF Confederation Cup participation is recorded for 2017 only. These entries place the club across Morocco’s top domestic league, its cup competition, an earlier second-tier period and a continental campaign, without extending the historical competitions beyond their recorded years.
More about Maghreb Fès
Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès, commonly known as Maghreb Fès or MAS Fès, is a Moroccan football club founded in 1946 and based in Fez. The city is widely regarded as a spiritual and cultural centre of Morocco, and the club’s identity is closely linked to that setting. Established during the French protectorate era, MAS developed a strong social and national character; its early history is associated with circles of independence activism and the wider emergence of Moroccan football.
The club’s traditional colours are yellow and black, reflected in its widely used nickname, the Yellow Tigers. Those colours give the team a distinctive visual identity, while the crest and municipal references connect the modern organisation with Fez’s civic heritage. Home matches are staged at Fez Stadium, also known as the Complexe Sportif de Fès. The venue sits on the route toward Sefrou and combines a modern open-bowl design with architectural touches associated with Moroccan tradition. It has also served as a setting for major national and continental events.
On the field, Maghreb Fès are part of the Botola Pro ecosystem, Morocco’s top domestic league, with recorded participation also covering the national Cup, an earlier Botola 2 period and a 2017 CAF Confederation Cup campaign. The club is historically recognised as a major domestic institution, with multiple league and Moroccan Throne Cup successes, and has a notable continental legacy that includes the CAF Confederation Cup and CAF Super Cup.
The organisation is structured through a professional committee and board connected to civic leadership and industrial patrons in the Fez-Meknes region. Its football model has traditionally combined local and academy talent with experienced Moroccan players and selected North and Sub-Saharan African recruits. That balance, together with a culture of experienced domestic coaching and selective foreign appointments, gives Maghreb Fès a durable place in Moroccan football.
