Vítor Machado Ferreira

Vitinha, born Vítor Machado Ferreira, is a Portuguese midfielder from Santo Tirso. He joined FC Porto’s academy at 11 after beginning at Desportivo das Aves and developed through the club’s youth system, helping Porto win the 2018–19 UEFA Youth League. Vitinha made his senior Porto debut in January 2020 before spending the 2020–21 season on loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers. After returning to Porto, he became an important part of the 2021–22 side that won the Primeira Liga and Taça de Portugal, while also receiving the league’s Best Young Player award and a place in its Team of the Year. In June 2022, Vitinha moved to Paris Saint-Germain, where he has operated across deeper and more advanced midfield roles. He contributes through passing, ball progression, pressing and control of tempo. He also represents Portugal and was involved in the team’s 2025 UEFA Nations League triumph.
