Patricio Gabarrón Gil
Patricio Gabarrón Gil, known as Patric, is a Spanish defender born in Mula on 17 April 1993. He developed at Barcelona’s La Masia after progressing through youth football in Spain, initially training as a defensive midfielder. During his time with Barcelona B, coach Eusebio Sacristán converted him into a right-back, broadening his defensive responsibilities. Patric appeared for Barcelona’s first team on 26 November 2013, replacing Carles Puyol against Ajax in the Champions League. In 2015, he moved to Lazio and began building a long career in Italian football. At Lazio, Patric has operated at right-back and centre-back, including as the right-sided defender in a back three, while contributing composed distribution from defence. He helped Lazio win the 2018–19 Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles, and remains listed with the club.
