Wilfried Stephane Singo

Wilfried Stephane Singo is an Ivorian centre-back who stands 1.90 metres tall. Born in Grand-Béréby on 25 December 2000, he initially trained as a goalkeeper before switching to an outfield role and developing at AS Denguélé. Singo moved to Torino in January 2019 and, after beginning with the under-19 side as a centre-back, was converted into a right-sided wing-back. His pace, stamina and ability to carry the ball made him an effective outlet in Torino’s demanding system. In August 2023, he joined Monaco, where he was used mainly as the right-sided defender in a back three, sharpening his positioning and defensive discipline. Singo helped Côte d’Ivoire win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, staged in early 2024, defeating Nigeria in the final. He later moved to Galatasaray, continuing his development as a versatile defender.
