Valentino Lando Lazaro

Valentino Lando Lazaro is an Austrian right-back born in Graz on 24 March 1996. He developed at Grazer AK before joining the Red Bull Salzburg academy at 14. Lazaro made his Salzburg debut in 2012, becoming the Austrian Bundesliga’s youngest player at 16. With Salzburg, he won five league titles and ten domestic trophies before moving to Hertha BSC on loan in 2017. In Berlin, Pál Dárdai increasingly used the former winger at right-back and wing-back, broadening his defensive responsibilities. A 2019 transfer took him to Inter, after which he spent loan spells with Newcastle United, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Benfica. At Mönchengladbach, Lazaro scored a celebrated scorpion-kick volley against Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, and he later continued his career with Torino while representing Austria internationally.
