Tijjani Reijnders
Tijjani Reijnders is a Dutch central midfielder born in Zwolle on 29 July 1998. He developed at WVF Zwolle and PEC Zwolle, then joined FC Twente before being released in 2015. Reijnders returned to amateur side CSV '28 Zwolle before rejoining PEC Zwolle’s under-19s and making a senior appearance in 2017. AZ Alkmaar subsequently recruited him, and he spent time with Jong AZ before a 2020 loan spell at RKC Waalwijk. By 2022–23, he had become an important AZ player during their run to the Europa Conference League semi-finals. In 2023, he moved to AC Milan, where his progressive carrying between defence and attack helped him win Serie A Best Midfielder for 2024–25, when he scored ten league goals. Reijnders made his Netherlands debut in 2023 and featured in their run to the Euro 2024 semi-finals. In 2025, he joined Manchester City as a versatile midfielder for club and country.
