Tommaso Pobega

Tommaso Pobega is an Italian midfielder born in Trieste on 15 July 1999. He developed at Triestina before joining AC Milan’s academy in 2013, progressing through the club’s youth ranks. Pobega began senior football on loan at Ternana in 2018–19, then moved to Pordenone, where he helped the Serie B side reach the promotion play-offs. His 2020–21 loan at Spezia brought his Serie A debut and six league goals, before a further top-flight spell with Torino in 2021–22. That season led to his first Italy call-up, while his performances earned a return to Milan. With Milan, Pobega scored his first Champions League goal against Dinamo Zagreb in September 2022, and he later joined Bologna on loan in July 2024. Now registered with Bologna, Pobega is a physically strong midfielder whose late runs and ball-winning work have shaped his rise through Italian football.
