Strahinja Tanasijević

Strahinja Tanasijević is a Serbian defender whose career has combined central defending with occasional work at right-back. He developed at FK Rad, spent time on loan at Žarkovo, and made his senior debut for Rad in October 2017. In January 2018, he joined Chievo on loan before the move became permanent. Tanasijević later had a loan spell with Paris FC, then returned to Serbia and joined Čukarički in 2021. There, he helped the club finish third in the league and reach the UEFA Europa Conference League. After a period with Spartak Subotica, he moved to New York City FC in February 2024, adding depth across the back line. He has been described as comfortable defending in a high line, stepping forward to intercept and using his passing to begin attacks.
