Soualiho Meïté

Soualiho Meïté is a French midfielder born in Paris on 17 March 1994. He developed at AJ Auxerre, where he progressed into professional football and made his Ligue 1 debut before joining Lille in 2013. After a loan at Zulte Waregem, Meïté helped the Belgian club win the 2017 Belgian Cup, then moved to Monaco. A loan spell at Bordeaux preceded his 2018 transfer to Torino, where his physical ball-winning and midfield coverage became prominent. In January 2021, AC Milan signed Meïté on loan, and later that year he joined Benfica. He subsequently spent time on loan at Cremonese and PAOK, adding Portuguese honours with Benfica before helping PAOK win the 2023/24 Greek Super League. Meïté represented France at under-16, under-17 and under-19 level, including the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and is listed as a midfielder for PAOK.
