Salis Abdul Samed
Salis Abdul Samed is a Ghanaian defensive midfielder born in Accra on 26 March 2000. He developed at JMG academies in Accra and Abidjan before moving to Europe in 2019. Samed joined Clermont Foot on loan that year and was part of the squad that secured promotion to Ligue 1 in 2021. After establishing himself in France’s top flight, he moved to Lens in June 2022. At Lens, Abdul Samed was part of the team that finished second in Ligue 1 in 2022–23, earning Champions League qualification. He made his World Cup debut for Ghana in 2022 and started all three group matches. Following a loan spell at Sunderland during 2024–25, Samed later joined Nice, where he continues his career.
