Lucas Rangel Nunes Gonçalves

Rangel, whose full name is Lucas Rangel Nunes Gonçalves, is a Brazilian forward born in Alvorada on 29 December 1994. He began his professional career in Brazil before moving to Finland, where he joined KuPS in 2018. Rangel helped KuPS win the 2019 Veikkausliiga title, ending the club’s long wait for the championship. After a spell with Adana Demirspor, he returned to KuPS in 2021 and scored a hat-trick against Astana in Europa Conference League qualifying. He later continued his career with Vorskla Poltava, followed by a loan at Sabah and a move to Riga. Rangel returned to KuPS in 2024 and contributed to the club’s Finnish Cup and Veikkausliiga double. He is now listed with Kooteepee, adding a strong target-forward option shaped by experience across European leagues.
