Rafael Obrador Burguera

Rafael Obrador Burguera is a Spanish left-back from Palma de Mallorca who prefers his left foot. He developed at Mallorca and made his La Liga debut against Osasuna in July 2020, aged 16, before moving to Real Madrid later that year. At Madrid, Rafael Obrador progressed through the youth system and represented Castilla, winning consecutive Copa del Rey Juvenil titles during his development. He then joined Deportivo de La Coruña on loan in 2024, gaining senior experience in the Segunda División. Benfica signed Obrador in July 2025, continuing his progression beyond Spain while retaining a pathway for his technical, attack-minded full-back profile. He has also been involved with Spain’s youth setup, including the under-16 and under-21 levels.
