Rolando Mandragora

Rolando Mandragora is an Italian midfielder born in Naples in 1997. He began at the football school founded by Paolo and Fabio Cannavaro before joining Genoa at 14. Mandragora made his senior debut for Genoa in 2014, notably man-marking Paul Pogba in a victory over Juventus. Juventus signed him in January 2016, and he subsequently developed through loan spells, including Pescara. At Crotone in 2017–18, he became a regular and scored his first professional goal against Benevento. He then spent 2018–21 at Udinese, becoming a tactical anchor, before joining Torino on loan for 2021–22. Mandragora moved to Fiorentina in July 2022, where his role broadened from a defensive screen to a more dynamic midfield presence. He also started the 2024 UEFA Europa Conference League final, marking a notable European appearance.
