Raoul Bellanova

Raoul Bellanova is an Italian defender born in Rho on May 17, 2000. He developed in AC Milan's academy and reached the Primavera, while also representing Italy at youth level. Despite spending years with Milan, he did not make a senior appearance before moving to Bordeaux in 2019. His first Ligue 1 season proved difficult, and a subsequent loan to Atalanta offered limited minutes. A spell with Pescara in Serie B helped restore regular playing time, before Bellanova established himself as a Serie A starter at Cagliari during 2021–22. He then joined Inter on loan for 2022–23, serving as a rotation defender during a season in which the club won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana. Bellanova later returned to Atalanta, where his pace and wide defensive work continue his development.
