Nick Quinten Olij

Nick Quinten Olij is a Dutch goalkeeper born in Haarlem on 1 August 1995. He developed at Koninklijke HFC before joining AZ Alkmaar’s academy in 2011, where he progressed through Jong AZ. Olij helped Jong AZ win the Tweede Divisie title in 2016/17 and moved on loan to TOP Oss in 2018 as he sought regular senior football. In 2019, he joined NAC Breda, becoming a key player and later captain during three seasons in the Eerste Divisie. He moved to Sparta Rotterdam in 2022, where his performances in the Eredivisie brought wider recognition as a dependable shot-stopper and ball-playing goalkeeper. Olij also represented the Netherlands at youth level, starting in the team that won the 2012 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and saving the decisive penalty in the final shootout. He received his first senior Netherlands call-up in October 2023 and joined PSV Eindhoven in 2025, adding top-level competition and experience to the club’s goalkeeping group.
