Myron van Brederode

Myron van Brederode is a Dutch left winger born in Hoofddorp on 6 July 2003. He developed with SV Overbos and AFC Amsterdam before joining the AZ Alkmaar academy in 2016. At AZ, van Brederode progressed through the youth teams and made his professional debut for Jong AZ in the Eerste Divisie at 17. He made his Eredivisie debut for AZ in May 2022, appearing as a late substitute against RKC Waalwijk. During the 2023–24 season, he became a regular senior option, making 29 appearances and providing four assists. Van Brederode moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan in August 2024, then completed a permanent transfer to KV Mechelen in September 2025. At Mechelen, he has been used both from the left and in central attacking positions, continuing his development as a creative and increasingly goal-minded forward.
