Maximiliano Nicolás Moralez

Maximiliano Nicolás Moralez is an Argentine midfielder born in Granadero Baigorria in 1987. He developed at Racing Club and made his senior debut there in 2005, later helping the club avoid relegation in a playoff against Belgrano during the 2007–08 season. At the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Moralez represented Argentina as the team won the title, earning the Silver Ball and Bronze Shoe. After a spell with FC Moscow, he returned to Argentina and joined Vélez Sársfield, where he won the 2009 Clausura and scored the decisive goal against Huracán in the final match. In 2011, Moralez transferred to Atalanta, spending four seasons in Serie A. He joined New York City FC in 2017, becoming a creative focal point and recording 20 assists in 2019. After a brief return to Racing Club in early 2023, Moralez rejoined NYCFC, where he remains an attacking influence.
