Michael Gregoritsch

Michael Gregoritsch is an Austrian forward born in Graz on 18 April 1994. He developed at Grazer AK before joining Kapfenberger SV in 2008, where he made his senior debut and scored against Austria Wien in April 2010 at 15 years and 361 days. In 2011, he moved to 1899 Hoffenheim and subsequently gained experience on loan at Kapfenberger SV, FC St. Pauli and VfL Bochum. Gregoritsch established himself in the Bundesliga with Hamburger SV from 2015 to 2017, scoring 11 goals across two seasons. He then joined FC Augsburg, including a 13-goal 2017–18 campaign, and later spent time on loan at FC Schalke 04. After moving to SC Freiburg in 2022, he scored a Europa League hat-trick against Olympiacos in 2023–24. For Austria, Gregoritsch scored in the 3–1 Euro 2020 win over North Macedonia and hit a hat-trick against Turkey in March 2024.
