Leroy-Jacques Mickels

Leroy-Jacques Mickels is a German forward born in Siegburg on 25 June 1995. He developed in Borussia Mönchengladbach’s academy before continuing with Borussia Mönchengladbach II and FC St. Pauli II. Mickels then moved through 1. FC Monheim and SSVg Velbert, where he scored 19 goals in 26 appearances during the 2018–19 season. That form led to a move to MSV Duisburg in 2019, giving him a route into Germany’s professional game. He later played for Türkgücü München and Rot-Weiß Oberhausen before pursuing opportunities abroad. His recorded career has also included clubs in Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan. Mickels is listed with Waldhof Mannheim and is primarily deployed in attacking roles, including as a forward or left winger, where he can carry the ball from wide areas and attack spaces centrally.
