Lucas Abraham Chaves

Lucas Abraham Chaves is an Argentine goalkeeper born on 9 August 1995 in Martín Coronado. He developed at Argentinos Juniors after joining the club in 2010, completing his youth training there. Chaves first appeared on the senior bench in 2016 and made his professional debut against Boca Unidos in the Primera B Nacional on 5 June 2017. He helped Argentinos secure promotion before making his Argentine Primera División debut against River Plate later that year. From 2017 to 2022, he established himself with Argentinos across domestic and continental competitions. In 2022, Chaves joined Huracán on loan and continued his senior career in Argentina. He later moved to Greece and is now associated with Panathinaikos. As a sweeper-keeper, he is noted for coming off his line to intercept through balls, while his distribution and reflexes support buildup and close-range saves.
