Kevin Stöger

Kevin Stöger is an Austrian midfielder born in Steyr on 27 August 1993. He developed with ATSV Steyr and SV Ried before joining VfB Stuttgart’s academy in 2009, later appearing for Stuttgart II in the 3. Liga. Stöger made his first-team debut in a DFB-Pokal match against St. Pauli in October 2012. He then gained regular senior experience during a two-year loan with 1. FC Kaiserslautern, followed by a spell at SC Paderborn. In 2016, Stöger moved to VfL Bochum, where he established himself as a creative central midfielder. He continued his Bundesliga progression with Fortuna Düsseldorf and FSV Mainz 05 before returning to Bochum in 2022. After becoming a prominent chance creator, Stöger joined Borussia Mönchengladbach, where his passing, set pieces and ability to control midfield remain central to his profile.
