Kenzo Goudmijn

Kenzo Goudmijn is a Dutch attacking midfielder from Hoorn, born on 18 December 2001. He began at Reiger Boys before joining the AZ Alkmaar academy in 2010, progressing through its youth system until 2019. Goudmijn made his professional debut for Jong AZ in 2018 and made his AZ first-team debut in May 2019. He also represented the Netherlands at youth level and was part of the under-17 side that won the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. Loans to Sparta Rotterdam in 2021–22 and Excelsior Rotterdam from 2022 helped him gain regular senior football and develop in different midfield roles. In July 2024, Goudmijn moved permanently to Derby County, making 41 Championship appearances and scoring twice in the 2024–25 season. Comfortable centrally or further forward, he uses close control, vision and passing range to progress possession and create attacks.
