Jan Jakob Olschowsky

Jan Jakob Olschowsky is a German goalkeeper developed by Borussia Mönchengladbach. He began playing with SV Glehn in 2008 before joining Mönchengladbach’s academy in 2009, progressing through its youth teams. Olschowsky made 29 appearances for the club’s under-17 side and 27 for the under-19s, then debuted for Borussia Mönchengladbach II in October 2018. He signed his first professional contract in July 2020 and continued gaining experience with the reserve team. In November 2022, Olschowsky made his Bundesliga debut against VfL Bochum when senior goalkeepers were unavailable. He also featured in a 4–2 win over Borussia Dortmund soon afterwards. Seeking regular senior football, he joined Alemannia Aachen on loan in January 2025, marking his first move away from Borussia Mönchengladbach.
