Jannik Huth
Jannik Huth is a German goalkeeper born in Bingen on 15 April 1994. He developed with SG Guldental and Hassia Bingen before joining 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2007 and progressing to the club’s second team. Huth made his professional debut for Mainz II in the 3. Liga against Holstein Kiel in October 2014. In 2016, he represented Germany at the Rio Olympics and won a silver medal as part of the squad. He moved to SC Paderborn 07 in 2019, initially starting in the Bundesliga before later becoming an established first-choice goalkeeper in the 2. Bundesliga. Paderborn appointed Huth captain in July 2023, reflecting his importance within the team. He joined SC Freiburg in July 2024, where his experience now adds depth to the goalkeeper group.
