Juan Carlos Gauto attacks space with pace, pinning centre-backs and peeling into behind lines as a right winger. Gauto keeps the tempo high. Juan Carlos Gauto made his professional debut for Huracán in April 2022. He opened his scoring account in February 2023 with a 2–0 win over Barracas Central, marking a turning point. In May 2023 Gauto represented Argentina at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. In August 2023 he joined FC Basel on a five-year deal and later moved on loan to Deportivo La Coruña before returning to Argentina on loan to Platense in 2026. On loan at Platense he presses high, drives at defenders and attacks the back post to create chances. The forward threat relies on quick bursts, one‑touch link play, and finishing moves when opportunities arise.
