Ivan Ilić

Ivan Ilić is a Serbian midfielder born in Niš on 17 March 2001. He developed at Filip Filipović and Real Niš before joining Red Star Belgrade in 2016, where he became the club’s youngest debutant at 16. In 2017, Ilić moved to Manchester City and continued his development through loans at Red Star, FK Zemun and NAC Breda. He joined Hellas Verona in 2020, establishing himself in Serie A and adding defensive work to his technical passing. After working with coach Ivan Jurić at Verona, Ilić followed him to Torino and made the move permanent in 2023. Ilić represented Serbia from youth level and made his senior debut in June 2021 against Jamaica. He featured at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and played in all three of Serbia’s group matches at UEFA Euro 2024. As a central midfielder, Ilić contributes to build-up, tempo control and defensive coverage for Torino.
