Håkon Evjen

Håkon Evjen is a left-footed central midfielder for Bodø/Glimt. He developed in northern Norway before joining Bodø/Glimt’s youth system in 2016. He signed his first professional contract in 2017, making his senior debut later that year. In 2019, Evjen was named both Eliteserien Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year. Those performances led to a move to AZ Alkmaar, where he continued his development from 2020. After his period abroad, Evjen returned to Bodø/Glimt in January 2024. He then helped the club win the 2024 Eliteserien title. Since returning, he has operated as a creative midfielder who can progress the ball, combine in central areas and contribute to the team’s pressing game.
