Giovanni Pablo Simeone Baldini

Giovanni Pablo Simeone Baldini is an Argentine centre-forward born in Madrid on 5 July 1995. He developed in River Plate’s youth system, joining in 2008, and reached the senior squad in 2013. Simeone represented Argentina at under-20 level and finished as the 2015 South American Under-20 Championship’s top scorer with nine goals. In 2016, he moved to Genoa, then continued his Serie A career with Fiorentina before joining Hellas Verona. At Verona, Simeone scored 17 league goals in the 2021/22 season, including four against Lazio. He later joined Napoli, where he contributed to their 2022/23 Serie A title-winning campaign and scored against Liverpool on his Champions League debut. Now registered with Torino, Giovanni Simeone is a mobile forward whose game combines penalty-area movement, finishing and pressure from the front.
