Elisha Owusu
Elisha Owusu is a Ghanaian midfielder born in Montreuil, France, on 7 November 1997. He joined the Olympique Lyonnais academy in 2010 and captained the club’s reserve side by 2017. Owusu moved to Sochaux on loan in 2018, beginning his senior career in Ligue 2. In 2019, he joined Gent, where he gained European experience in the Europa League and Champions League qualifying rounds. His time in Belgium brought a Belgian Cup winners’ medal in 2022. Owusu made his Ghana debut in the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria, becoming part of the Black Stars setup. He returned to France with Auxerre in January 2023 and helped the club win the 2023–24 Ligue 2 title, adding a composed, ball-winning presence in midfield.
