Eljif Elmas

Eljif Elmas is a North Macedonian attacking midfielder born in Skopje on 24 September 1999. He developed at FK Rabotnicki, making his senior debut in 2015 and establishing himself before moving to Fenerbahçe in 2017. At the Turkish club, Elmas gained top-flight experience and drew attention for his technical ability and ball carrying. Napoli signed him in 2019, beginning a four-year spell in which he operated across midfield and the wide areas while contributing as a starter and substitute. Elmas helped Napoli win the 2022–23 Serie A title and scored North Macedonia’s winning goal in the 2–1 World Cup qualifying victory over Germany in 2021. He moved to RB Leipzig in January 2024, adding Bundesliga football to a career that has taken him through Turkey, Italy and Germany. Elmas also remains involved with the North Macedonia national team.
