Domingos de Sousa Coutinho Meneses Duar

Domingos Duarte is a right-footed centre-back born in Cascais, Portugal. He developed in Sporting CP’s academy before gaining senior experience with the reserve side and loan spells at Belenenses, Chaves and Deportivo La Coruña. At Deportivo, Duarte established himself in Spain and became an important defender. Granada signed him in 2019, where he helped the club reach the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals in 2021. He moved to Getafe in 2022, continuing his career in La Liga. Standing 1.92m, Domingos Duarte uses his height and positioning to compete in the air and protect the penalty area. He is also an assertive stopper who favors early challenges, clearances and direct passes when relieving pressure.
