Dennis Pierre Jacques Albert Praet

Dennis Praet is a Belgian midfielder born in Leuven on 14 May 1994. He developed at Genk before joining Anderlecht in 2010, choosing a route that offered a clearer path to senior football. Praet made his Anderlecht debut at 17 and became an important creative presence as the club competed for honours in Belgium. In January 2015, he won the Belgian Golden Shoe, recognising him as the league’s best player for the previous calendar year. He moved to Sampdoria in 2016, where Italian football broadened his role from an attacking No. 10 into a hard-working central midfielder who pressed, tracked runners and linked play. Leicester City signed Praet in 2019, and a loan spell at Torino in 2021–22 gave him another opportunity to perform in Serie A. He is listed with KV Mechelen, bringing close control, neat passing and positional versatility to midfield.
