David Chidozie Okereke

David Chidozie Okereke is a Nigerian forward born in Lagos on 29 August 1997. He developed at Abuja Football College before beginning his senior career in Italy, where he progressed through the professional game and established himself as a mobile attacking player. In 2019, Okereke moved to Club Brugge, gaining Champions League experience and helping the Belgian club win two Belgian First Division A titles and two Belgian Super Cups. Across his Brugge spell, he scored 22 goals in 73 appearances. Okereke returned to Italy on loan with Venezia in 2021 before joining Cremonese permanently in 2022. He later continued his Italian career with Torino, while also operating across central and wide attacking roles. David Okereke combines forward movement, pressing and the ability to link play, giving him tactical value beyond finishing.
