Dominik Fitz

Dominik Fitz is an Austrian attacking midfielder born in Vienna on 16 June 1999. He began at SV Langenzersdorf before joining the FK Austria Wien academy in 2006, aged seven. Fitz progressed through the club’s youth system and played for the Young Violets, helping the reserve side reach Austria’s second tier in 2017–18. He made his Austria Wien Bundesliga debut against Rheindorf Altach in March 2018 and scored his first senior goal against Red Bull Salzburg two months later. By 2019–20, he had become a regular starter and increasingly served as the Violets’ chief creative outlet. Fitz represented Austria from under-17 to under-21 level, including the 2016 European Under-17 Championship. After nearly two decades with Austria Wien, he moved to Minnesota United FC in August 2025, beginning a new chapter in Major League Soccer.
