David Sandan Abagna
David Sandan Abagna is a Ghanaian attacking midfielder born in Accra on 9 September 1998. He developed in Tamale with Tamale Zaytuna Babies before joining Wa All Stars, where he made his senior breakthrough in 2016. With Wa All Stars, Abagna was part of the Ghana Premier League title-winning squad in 2016 and later scored 13 league goals in 2017. He moved to Ashanti Gold in 2019, gaining experience in the CAF Confederation Cup, before joining Real Tamale United in 2021. At RTU, he combined midfield progression and late runs into the area with university studies and captained the side. Abagna then moved to Al Hilal Omdurman in Sudan, but the conflict there preceded a spell with Moldovan club Petrocub. He later played for APOEL Nicosia and is now associated with Kazakhstan’s Ordabasy, continuing a career that has taken him across Africa, Europe and Central Asia.
