Cesare Casadei

Cesare Casadei is a central midfielder born in Ravenna on 10 January 2003. He began developing in Cervia and Cesena before joining Inter’s academy in 2018, after Cesena’s bankruptcy. At Inter, Casadei won the national Under-17 championship in 2019 and became a key Primavera player, earning 2021 Guardian Next Generation recognition. In 2021–22, he helped Inter win the Primavera 1 title and was named the competition’s Player of the Season after scoring 14 goals. Chelsea signed him in August 2022, and he moved into senior football through loans at Reading and Leicester City. He made his professional debut for Reading, later scored on his Leicester debut, and returned to Chelsea before making his Premier League debut against Liverpool in January 2024. Casadei joined Torino permanently in February 2025 and has represented Italy, winning the Golden Ball and Golden Boot at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup after scoring seven goals.
