Alberto Andrea Paleari

Alberto Andrea Paleari is an Italian goalkeeper born in Giussano on 29 August 1992. He began at Seregno before joining AC Milan in June 2008, where he served as the Primavera starting goalkeeper from 2008-09 through 2010-11 and helped the side reach the 2010 Italian championship final. Promoted to Milan's senior squad in 2011, Paleari did not make a competitive appearance. He pursued first-team football with Ponte San Pietro, Tritium, Virtus Verona, Mantova and Giana Erminio, progressing through Serie D and Lega Pro; he was named best goalkeeper of the year in 2013-14. In 2016, Paleari joined Cittadella and spent four seasons in Serie B, becoming an established presence. He moved to Genoa in 2020, making his Serie A debut in November that year, and later represented Benevento in Serie A and Serie B. Paleari is now registered with Torino, where his 193-centimetre frame supports a safety-first goalkeeping style built around shot-stopping and punch-clearances.
