Žan-Luk Leban

Žan-Luk Leban is a Slovenian goalkeeper born on 15 December 2002. He developed in Poland with FCB Escola Varsovia before moving to Everton in 2019. At Everton, Leban progressed through the academy and became the under-18s’ first-choice goalkeeper during the 2020–21 season. He was also named on the senior bench for an FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City in March 2021. In 2023–24, he joined Farsley Celtic on loan, making 41 appearances and recording 15 clean sheets in the National League North. The spell gave Leban experience of senior football and the demands of defending crosses and set pieces. In July 2025, he returned to Slovenia by signing for Celje, where he has been involved in UEFA Conference League matches and the Slovenia under-21 setup.
