Zamiq Əliyev
Zamiq Əliyev is an Azerbaijani centre-back who developed in the Qarabag system. He was part of Qarabag’s squads during the 2019/20 and 2021/22 seasons, winning two Premyer Liqa titles and one Azerbaijani Cup. Seeking regular senior football, Əliyev spent 2022/23 on loan at Kapaz, making 20 league appearances. He then joined Araz-Naxçıvan for the 2023/24 campaign and recorded 18 league appearances. In July 2024, he moved abroad to Egnatia Rrogozhinë, becoming a regular in the Albanian club’s defence. He helped Egnatia win the 2024/25 Albanian Supercup and appeared in qualifying rounds for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League. After representing Azerbaijan from under-17 to under-21 level, Əliyev made his senior debut against Sweden in the Nations League on 19 November 2024.
