Zeki Yavru

Zeki Yavru is a Turkish football defender born on 5 September 1991 in Trabzon. He developed in Trabzon Telekomspor’s youth setup before joining the Trabzonspor academy in 2007. Yavru later began his senior career with Trabzonspor and continued his professional path with clubs including Giresunspor and Samsunspor. He joined Samsunspor in 2022, becoming part of the side that won the 2022–23 1. Lig title and earned promotion to the Süper Lig. At right-back, Yavru has also been used in wider midfield or central defensive roles, reflecting his positional versatility. His game combines disciplined defending with crossing, long passing and set-piece delivery, while his experience supports structured build-up play. Yavru is currently registered with Bursaspor, adding another chapter to a career rooted in Turkish football.
