Zlatko Tripić

Zlatko Tripić is a Norwegian midfielder born in Rijeka, Croatia. After developing in Norway, he joined Molde in 2011, beginning a professional career that later took him abroad. Tripić subsequently played for Sheriff Tiraspol, where he won the Moldovan Super Liga in 2017. He joined Viking in 2018, helping the club return to Norway’s top division. As captain, Zlatko Tripić scored the only goal in Viking’s 1–0 Norwegian Cup final victory over Haugesund in 2019. After another spell abroad, he returned to Viking and captained the team to the 2025 Eliteserien title, ending the club’s long wait for a league championship. A left-sided midfielder, he is described as a creative player who can move inside and contribute through passing and set pieces. He has also represented Norway internationally and remains part of Viking’s current squad.
