Zachary Albert Sapsford

Zachary Albert Sapsford is an Australian forward who developed through Hakoah Sydney City East’s youth system before spending 18 months with Chester FC in the United Kingdom. He returned to Hakoah in 2021 and scored seven goals in his first 15 senior matches, earning a move to Sydney FC’s National Premier League setup. In 2022, Sapsford joined Western Sydney Wanderers on a three-year professional contract, beginning his senior career with the A-League club. He became a notable derby performer, scoring a late winner against Sydney FC in November 2023 and later contributing in further Sydney derbies. During the 2024–25 season, he recorded nine goals and four assists in 26 appearances for Western Sydney Wanderers. Sapsford moved to Dundee United in June 2025 on a three-year deal, taking his pressing, movement and centre-forward play to the Scottish Premiership. He has also scored for Dundee United against Celtic and Rapid Vienna in UEFA Conference League qualifying.
