Zachary Elbouzedi

Zachary Elbouzedi is a Republic of Ireland midfielder, born in Dublin on 5 April 1998. He developed with Malahide United and Shelbourne before joining West Bromwich Albion’s academy in 2014, although he did not make a senior appearance there. Elbouzedi represented Ireland from under-15 through under-21 level, later returning to senior football with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2017. After leaving Scotland, he joined Waterford in late 2018, making 29 appearances and scoring six goals. His form earned a January 2020 move to Lincoln City, followed by a loan at Bolton Wanderers, before he joined Swedish club AIK in July 2021. A wide player known for speed, dribbling and crossing, Elbouzedi also played as a right wing-back during a loan spell with Swindon Town. He moved to St Patrick’s Athletic in July 2024 and scored Conference League goals against Vaduz and Sabah, adding European highlights to a career spanning Ireland, England and Sweden.
