Zakaria El Ouahdi broke through at RWDM, scoring 8 goals and earning a move to Genk in 2023. He adapts quickly to higher levels. In 2023–24 he won the U-23 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco and later secured a bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics. His transfer to Genk in September 2023 established him as a first-choice starter and a continual outlet on the right. By June 2025 he earned his senior Morocco cap. At Genk he leverages high pressing, ball-carrying in wide areas, and arriving late in the box to threaten the goal.
