Zachary Bichotte Paul Brault-Guillard
Zachary Bichotte Paul Brault-Guillard is a Canadian defender born in Delmas, Haiti, who developed primarily as a right-back. He began with Lagnieu and Ain Sud in France before joining Olympique Lyonnais’s academy at under-13 level. At Lyon, Brault-Guillard captained the under-19 side and made five starts in the 2016 UEFA Youth League. In February 2019, he moved to CF Montreal on loan from Lyon, gaining senior experience in Major League Soccer. CF Montreal made the transfer permanent in 2020, and he established himself as an energetic right-back or wing-back who supported attacks with overlapping runs. After his Montreal contract ended following the 2023 season, Brault-Guillard returned to Europe by joining FC Lugano in 2024. Internationally, he chose Canada, made his youth debut in 2016 and contributed to the country’s qualification campaign for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
