Zsombor Bévárdi

Zsombor Bévárdi is a Hungarian defender who has developed from a youth winger into a right-back and wing-back. Born on 30 January 1999, he began at Siófoki Bányász and Főnix Gold before joining Puskás Akadémia in 2014. In 2016, Bévárdi won the Puskás-Suzuki Cup top-scorer award and earned a professional contract with Videoton, now Fehérvár FC, alongside a study tour at Genk. Loans with BFC Siófok, Vasas and Kaposvári Rákóczi gave him senior experience before he moved permanently to Debreceni VSC in 2020. Across his Debrecen spell, he became a regular on the right side while adapting his attacking background to defensive responsibilities. Bévárdi later returned to Puskás Akadémia, spent time with Budapest Honvéd and MTK Budapest, and is now part of Paks’s squad. He also represented Hungary at under-19 level, scoring eight goals in 11 appearances.
