Zakaria Bengueddoudj
Zakaria Bengueddoudj attacks space with quick runs, holds the ball up with his back to goal, and looks to link play as a centre-forward who probes the space between lines. Zakaria Bengueddoudj began at AC Rive de Gier and Olympique Saint-Etienne before joining AS Saint-Étienne’s academy in 2016. He seeks separation with timing runs. He moved to Saint-Priest in 2020 to gain senior minutes and strengthen his physical game. The Ligue 2 exposure came via a spell at Annecy and a loan at Châteauroux in 2023/24, with over 80 appearances and 14 goals by 2024/25. In July 2025 he joined FCO Firminy as a continuing attacking option. Bengueddoudj’s role centers on holding the ball, finishing moves, and pressing high to force turnovers. He attacks the back post when gaps open, finishing moves quickly.
