Zahi Ahmed
Zahi Ahmed is an Israeli midfielder who developed through the youth systems of Hapoel Mate Asher, FC Mi'ilya and Hapoel Acre. He began senior football with Hapoel Acre, debuting on 29 August 2019 in a 3–3 Liga Leumit draw against Maccabi Ahi Nazareth. Ahmed scored his first professional goal for Acre in a 2–0 win over Hapoel Afula on 2 November 2020, and established himself across more than 110 appearances for the club. In early 2023, he moved to Hapoel Beer Sheva and joined Bnei Sakhnin on loan for the 2023–24 season. He made the step into the Israeli Premier League with four goals in 31 appearances before returning to Beer Sheva. Used from wide areas and centrally, Ahmed combines forward movement with chance creation and pressing. He helped Hapoel Beer Sheva win the 2024–25 State Cup and 2025–26 Super Cup, and has received Israel national-team call-ups.
