Yevhen Volynets

Yevhen Volynets is a Ukrainian goalkeeper born in Kaniv on 26 August 1993. He developed in the Dynamo Kyiv youth system and later played for Dynamo-2, working toward senior football without appearing for Dynamo’s first team. Volynets continued that progression with Helios Kharkiv before joining Kolos Kovalivka in July 2017. At Kolos, he became an established goalkeeper as the club moved from the lower divisions into the Ukrainian Premier League and later reached European qualifying competition. He transferred to Dnipro-1 in 2023, making 22 appearances and experiencing UEFA Champions League qualifying. In July 2024, Volynets joined Polessya as a free agent and remains part of the club’s squad. At 1.88 metres, he is noted for agility, close-range saves and penalty stopping, while also contributing through clearances and passes under pressure.
