Yevhen Tsymbalyuk

Yevhen Tsymbalyuk is a Ukrainian defender from Lyman who developed in Olimpik Donetsk’s youth system. He made his Ukrainian Premier League debut for Olimpik against Illichivets Mariupol on 30 May 2015. Over the following years, Tsymbalyuk operated in central defence and defensive midfield, helping Olimpik reach the 2014–15 Ukrainian Cup semi-finals and the 2017–18 Europa League third qualifying round. He joined Desna Chernihiv in July 2021, but his spell ended after the 2022 invasion disrupted Ukrainian football. Tsymbalyuk then moved to Armenia, joining FC Urartu in September 2022. He later played for Romanian side Concordia Chiajna before returning to Urartu on 20 June 2025. At 1.83 metres, he offers aerial presence and lateral defensive coverage, while his positional background allows him to step into midfield when required. Yevhen Tsymbalyuk has also represented Ukraine at under-21 level.
